Through an advanced recycling process where nylon waste is broken down and returned to its original building blocks, it is possible to rebuild a completely new nylon fiber with the exact same purity and performance as virgin nylon, without the use of raw fossil materials. Nylon is a synthetic textile fibre that can be recycled endlessly with retained quality. This piece is also made of 92% Recycled Polyester in the lining. By choosing Recycled Polyester we are able to deliver the same technical performance in fibers with a smaller environmental footprint, it also reduces dependence on petroleum as a raw material and can divert plastic from ending in landfills. The most common raw material source for recycled polyester is old PET bottles.
