Meet founder Malin Ek Andrén
It was during her time in Hong Kong in early 2000 that Malin Ek Andrén, the founder of By Malina, created her vision that was soon to become By Malina. The years spent around the globe, with international design education and new experiences, made her see the potential in the extravagant patterns and exclusive materials that were rejected by other brands. In this period Scandinavian minimalism ruled the fashion industry and the gap for sophisticated femininity in colours and patterns was missing. This was something Malin recognized and saw the potential in creating unique pieces for the people around her.
Today, our small empire reaches over 200 stockists around the world, including Selfridges, Stockmann, Harvey Nichols, to name a few. By Malina has always stayed true to the strong DNA that defines us, making every woman feel special and unique in her garment. The mission is to offer timeless cuts and silhouettes in irresistible, bold, and colourful patterns made in thoughtfully chosen materials. By Malina strive to be the leading occasion-wear brand for all Weddings and Parties around the globe.
