meet the founder of malina

Established in 2010 by Malin Ek Andrén in Stockholm, Malina brings to life vibrant collections for the modern woman. After spending four years in Hong Kong, the designer draws inspiration from Mediterranean landscapes and her Hellenic culture. This blend creates a chic style with beautiful prints and fabrics, making the brand popular in contemporary fashion. Malina designs, created in Stockholm for a global audience, empower women through elegant and functional clothing that simplifies dressing up.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Malin Ek Andrén pursued fashion studies at Parsons School of Design in New York. With her Hellenic roots and international design education, she saw the potential for unique patterns and materials not explored by other brands. In an era of Scandinavian minimalism, the desire for feminine colors and patterns remained unfulfilled. Back in Sweden, Malin showcased her designs in Stockholm's venues, witnessing the appeal of her prints. This led to the creation of Malina.
