Job description
Malina is looking for a Design Director to lead and elevate the product design across our assortment. With a strong foundation in occation wear, and capability across other product categories, you will ensure that every collection reflects our brand DNA rooted in design and quality. In this role, you will be part of the Management Team and drive design excellence, collection consistency, and innovation while aligning with long-term brand and commercial goals.
About the Role
- Creative Direction: Evolve the design vision and collection stories for Malina across the full product assortment for woman's collections ensuring a consistent and premium expression of the brand’s DNA.
- Material Innovation: Source and develop high-quality fabrics in collaboration with Product Development, ensuring both design integrity and responsible sourcing.
- Technical Excellence: Apply knowledge of garment construction, and fit to ensure design concepts translate into high-quality, wearable products.
- Trend & Market Research: Conduct ongoing research into fashion trends, customer behaviour, and the competitive landscape to inform forward-thinking yet timeless collections.
- Sustainability Integration: Ensure design decisions align with Malinas sustainability goals together with product development - from material selection to longevity in style and construction.
- Visual Communication: Create and manage seasonal moodboards, color cards, and sketches to clearly communicate design direction internally and externally that align with the brands DNA and creative guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development, Production, and Brand teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic, and commercial goals.
- Visual Communication: Work closely with Marketing Director to ensure a clear red thread between design DNA and visual communication.
- Contribute to the overall brand and business strategy as part of the Management Team, shaping Malina’s long-term creative direction and product positioning.
Profile
- 7+ years of experience in premium Womenswear design with a strong focus on dresses, and ability to design across other product categories.
- Strong understanding of fabrique innovation.
- Well-developed understanding of current and emerging fashion trends, with the ability to apply them to Malina.
- In- depth knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and fit, with a strong technical foundation.
- Experience in keeping deadlines and working with a detailed assortment plan.
- Knowledge and interest of sustainable materials and design practices.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and PLM systems.
- Fluent in English.
- You will report directly to the CEO.

Malina is looking for a Production Planner to join the production team. You’ll be the link between development, suppliers, and logistics, ensuring that all data is correct and every piece is produced on time, with care, and to the highest standards. You will also ensure that collections are delivered in line with Malina’s DNA of design and quality. You’ll work closely with our small, dedicated team and international partners, helping us maintain a smooth, responsible, and well-balanced production flow.
Responsibilities
- Production planning: manage seasonal and ongoing bulk production timelines, together with Head of Production, ensuring clear planning from development handover to delivery.
- Own and handle supplier coordination for Tier 1 and 2 suppliers and act as the day-to-day contact for suppliers and factories, following up on production status, capacity, and delivery schedules.
- Placement of bulk orders in the ERP/Centra for both pre and re-orders.
- Delivery tracking and planning: track and drive production progress to secure on-time delivery. Manage shipment tasks, schedules and special requests in collaboration with logistics, and delivery accuracy to ensure timely arrival of goods to warehouse or distribution partners.
- Continuous updating of delivery master file, BC and shipping files to ensure updated information is available for the whole company.
- Own trims and packing instructions towards suppliers. Manage material and trims flow, including booking, tracking of orders and deliveries, and consumption to ensure production readiness and avoid delays. Contribute to stock and deadstock management.
- Price negotiations: discussion with suppliers regarding bulk production price negotiations based on surcharge or large orders both on a Tier 1 and Tier 2 level, together with the HoP.
- Buying analysis according to given seasonal budgets, together with Controller and HoP.
- Sales analysis: analysis of weekly, and monthly sales trends and suggest actions based on collected data, together with the HoP and controller. Ensuring Malina’s NOOS assortment is never out of stock or over-stocked.
- System maintenance: daily maintenance and gathering of information in PLM and ERP systems to ensure constantly updated and accurate information. Transfer of information from PLM to BC and Centra. Make sure any changes after import are accurate and updated throughout all other systems.
- Information flow: ownership and maintenance of master data, including product descriptions from production which is used company-wide. Ensure that all parts of the company receive accurate and timely information regarding collections and deliveries.
- Responsible for fitting and making comments and measurement lists of all samples from PPS and QC.
- Care label and instructions management and confirmation in respective systems.
- Manage and maintain product data, including TARIC, EAN and HS codes, for each new product and collection.
- Follow up on claims with suppliers.
- Product quality and compliance follow-up. Confirmation of bulk fabric swatches, wear and wash tests, chemical testing etc.
- Sustainability administration: work with the company sustainability strategy, including options for more sustainable materials, efficient certificate management. Maintain sustainability information for internal and external use.
- Cross-functional collaboration.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or similar roles (preferably within fashion or textiles)
- Proficient in Excel. Experience with Business Central ERP, Delogue PLM, Centra is a plus.
- Experience in working with both DTC and Wholesale timelines and requirements.
- Technically proficient and good at data analysis
- Structured, thorough, detail-oriented, and naturally organized
- Comfortable balancing multiple timelines and priorities
- A clear communicator who builds strong relationships across teams and cultures
- Proactive and solution-driven, with a calm approach to challenges

Responsibilities
As an intern, you will work hands-on and closely with our operations and logistics team. Your responsibilities may include:
- Responding to daily emails from retailers, internal teams, and our 3PL warehouse

- Help measure and check samples against specifications

We are currently looking for a new E-commerce Intern who is available for at least 3 months, preferably 6 months. The internship is based at our headquarters in Stockholm.
What you’ll do during your internship
Together with the e-commerce team, you’ll gain insight into and assist with the operational and administrative work related to the website and Malina’s digital channels — driving traffic, optimizing the site, and achieving online sales goals.
- Manage and ensure that the product catalog is updated with accurate information and coordinate digital assets such as e-com images, packshots, and campaign visuals
- Assist in campaign and activation set ups
- Gain insight into our SEO processes — for example, writing and publishing content on the website with a focus on engaging and inspiring articles, as well as SEO-optimized product descriptions
- Based on the marketing plan, actively work on making the website visually appealing and optimizing product placement
